Scott Berg: A Ready Connection to Enwave Chicago

If you’ve already met him, we wouldn’t be surprised. Scott Berg, Enwave Chicago’s new partner relationship manager, hit the ground running when he started here in March. Scott’s been meeting with customers to learn about their buildings and energy needs.

Scott joins Business Development Manager Jim Rylowicz as a key member of Enwave Chicago’s customer relations team. “I’m here as a resource for our customers,” says Scott. “I ask and answer questions to make sure our customers are completely satisfied with our service. Many of our customers manage additional properties, and through our discussions we’re finding that district cooling is a great fit for those buildings as well. Working directly with people energizes me. I’m committed to going the extra mile for them.”

Scott comes to Enwave Chicago from Mitsui & Co. (USA) Inc. Previously with Central Steel & Wire, Equiguard Inc. and CDW, he has always been a part of sales, marketing and customer service efforts. “Each of the industries I’ve worked in has been unique, but I’ve taken what I’ve absorbed in each industry and applied it to each new experience. As I learn more and more about district cooling, it’s clear that it’s an amazing amenity for the central business district. It’s exciting to see the growth Enwave Chicago and our parent Brookfield is experiencing. It’s great to be a part of it, and we look forward to much more.”

Born and raised in Chicago Heights, Scott feels right at home at Enwave Chicago. “As a kid, I took the train into the city of Chicago all the time,” he says. “I know Chicago well and have witnessed the changes through the years. In my opinion it keeps getting better and better. Chicago will always be ‘my city,’ and it’s great to be working in the heart of it.”
